The assignment features 2 sections, first students were required to create an object out of casting wax. The object needed to fit into one of the following categories, A nostalgic object, A precious object, A representation of emotion, or A mysterious artifact. The second section of the assignment required students to cast their wax objects in aluminum through the ceramic shell process. Key objects were texture, form, content, context, balance and color.
